ISTE 2015 wraps up today! Here are some great things that we saw and heard in the last 24 hours.

  • Powerful presentation from the founders of EdCamps, which are organic, teacher-driven “unconferences” that have been hosted all over the world. If you’re interested in joining an upcoming EdCamp, consider the upcoming EdCamp Global on July 31-August 1.
  • Have you heard of Symbaloo, Osmo, Peeq, and AutoDesk? You might, if you read Leslie Fisher’s website. The former Apple engineer speaks and writes about great ed-tech tools and tips.2015-07-01 11.18.00
  • What can you do to support education technology on a larger scale? Sign up for ISTE’s Advocacy Network. We sent emails to Congress urging them to support Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT), a program for digital learning professional development, digital tools, and content. You can send the email, too—it only takes a minute!

Stay tuned—even though the conference is over, we’ll have more from ISTE 2015 next week when Rodel Teacher Council members Tim Brewer, Michele Johnson, and Michelle Wilson share their top takeaways from ISTE 2015.
